Every square on the map arrives from a player running the webmap mod. One chunk is Minecraft's 16 × 16 block column. The map keeps the latest picture of each chunk, while every submission counts towards the sender's total (except sending again, unchanged, a chunk you already own) — so the chunks sent below add up to far more than the chunks on the map.

How these numbers are produced

• Chunks on the map counts the distinct chunks with data, each one a 16 × 16 block square.
• Chunks sent counts every submission a player has made, including chunks sent again later — but not a chunk they already own sent again unchanged, so walking the same area over and over does not add up.
• Daily activity counts submissions per calendar day (UTC); gaps are days with no data, including the days the server was offline.
• The map images are redrawn every five minutes — see how the map works.
